GetVoolo exists because airport transfers in Lisbon shouldn't mean choosing between an inflated flat rate or a meter you can't predict.
Two ways to book, on purpose
Some trips need certainty — book an instant, fixed price and a driver is confirmed straight away. Other trips reward a little patience — post your route and let vetted local drivers compete for it, so you see real market prices instead of one number set by whoever answers first. Both are the same honest idea: you should see what a fair price actually looks like before you pay it.
Who's behind it
Roshid — I started GetVoolo because there was no Portuguese-owned platform doing this for Lisbon airport transfers — the options were foreign ride-hailing apps or the flat-rate taxi rank, nothing local that let you compare real offers.
Based in Lisbon
GetVoolo is based in Lisbon, Portugal, and every driver on the platform is a licensed local operator — RNAAT or TVDE, verified before they can bid.
