Cookie Policy

Last updated: 8 October 2026

1. In short

GetVoolo uses only what it needs to work. There are no analytics or advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking, so there is nothing optional to accept or refuse, and no cookie banner. We do count page views and booking steps anonymously, without any cookie or anything stored in your browser — see our privacy policy, section 6.

This page covers cookies and the similar ways a website can store things in your browser (local storage, session storage, a service worker). How we use personal data generally is in our privacy policy.

2. Strictly necessary — always on

These make the site work and need no consent under the ePrivacy rules. They are set by us, on getvoolo.com.

NameTypeWhat it doesHow long
sb-…-auth-tokenCookie (may be split into .0, .1 … when large)Keeps you signed in. Set by our authentication provider (Supabase) only when you sign inUntil you sign out, and at most 400 days
sb-…-auth-token-code-verifierCookieA one-time security code while you sign in with GoogleRemoved when sign-in completes
pending-bookingSession storageKeeps the trip you were entering if you are sent to sign in, so you do not have to type it againUntil you close the tab; ignored after 1 hour
install-prompt-dismissedSession storageStops the “install the app” prompt reappearing after you dismiss itUntil you close the tab
Service worker and its cacheService workerStores the app icons and delivers the notifications you allow. Sets no cookiesUntil the site updates it

3. Maps

The live-tracking page and the driver's route page show an interactive map from Mapbox. When one of those pages opens, Mapbox's map library may keep a small record in your browser's local storage and sends Mapbox a map-load event that Mapbox uses for billing. It is needed to show the map you asked to see; we have switched off its optional performance telemetry. No map library loads on the other pages — the address search on the home page sends only what you type.

4. Other sites you visit through us

When you pay, you do so on Stripe's own checkout page (checkout.stripe.com); Stripe may set its own cookies there, under Stripe's policy. If you choose “Continue with Google”, Google's sign-in page may set Google cookies. We do not load Stripe or Google scripts on our own pages, and our fonts are served from our own domain, so visiting getvoolo.com sends nothing to Google.

5. Deleting what is stored

You can delete cookies and site data in your browser's settings at any time. Deleting the sign-in cookie signs you out.

Until September 2026 the site offered optional analytics and remembered your answer in your browser's local storage (gt-consent-v2). We no longer read it; clearing the site data removes it.
